GAHH! TIS IS THE 3RD TIME I'M TYPING TIS ENTIRE THING COZ MY BLOODY INTERNET CONNECTION JUST LOVES HANGING ON ME JUST AS I'M ABT TO PUBLISH.. SO TECHNICALLY, TIS ENTRY TOOK ME OVER 10 FREAKING HRS TO COMPLETE N ITS NOT EVEN DONE! BAHX! I'M PISSED WITH THE WORLD!!
5th apr '07
went back to sch for freshmen orientation camp meeting. lo n behold, there is no more camp coz the stupid sp facility booking system cannot find rms for our 50 campers. so the camp is now a 1 day activity at east coast park. i dunno if its me tt is stingy but i sorta feel tt the budget allocation for tis event is frivalous. granted, we all wan a smashing, grand event to attract n retain quality members but i feel tt something concerning money shld be tot through v carefully. although, tis consideration sadly does not extend to my impulsive shopping sprees. XP
aft the meeting, i went down to relax@moberly to support darren n tiff. the bk collection for their imakeadeal proj is pretty impressive. n the time i spent there was v fruitful. i contributed in fun areas like stamping n photographing >100 bks! n darren owes me his 9999th cup of tea for being such a fantastic help. lol. =P
was supposed to visit jessica at TM n shop for lynn's bdae present plus his anniversary gift but staying by the pushcarts was so much fun. blur darren kept making silly mistakes tt kept tiffany n me laughing for hrs. furthermore, the massage chairs were too enticing but they made me ache. ^^
i reached expo stn just as he left his office. phew. aft meeting up, we went to changi airport's viewing gallery to watch aeroplanes. we then shopped around n chilled at mac before heading to fish n co for in time for our reservations n we both shared a seafood platter for 2 with fab mushroom soup n passionfruit sodas. yum yum.
he did tis on my plate when i went to the toilet. n blur me nv even notice.
him: dar, finish ur rice.
me: i full le.. dun wan.
him: just eat lah..
me: (looks down) omg!! *gushes*
my IT fair pay better come in fast. coz i'm already treating ppl to meals with money i hv not yet received. grrrr...
6th apr 'o7
as it was gd friday, he dismissed frm wrk early so i rushed down to expo to pei him until it was time for me to meet the girlfriends. ok, he accompany me more likely ba. hehehe.. we browsed the exhibitions at expo armed with caramelised popcorn, visiting the Times Warehouse Sale to the John Little Mega Expo Sale. i was even tempted to go look at the wedding exhibition.. the dresses were pretty pretty..
aft saying hurried 'hellos' n 'gd byes' to santoso who happened to be working at expo too, i rushed down to cityhall to meet the girlys while he rushed to orchard to meet up with richard. aft we all gathered, we then headed down to waraku at marina sq to celebrate yi lynn's 19th birthday! the turn-out tis yr was not bad. the usual clique plus sandy n kenny minus jj. n it was couple's galore as some of them brought other halves along..
all in all, the night was a fun-filled mini 4e4 gathering. filled with jokes, gossips n updates. not forgetting reminiscing the quirkiness of kenny's signature 'oready' n cher's 'RSAF' (round, short and fat) nickname of yesteryear.

cherlyn fighting for tt piece of choc.. seriously, she appears to not hv tasted choc before. either tt or she muz be one deprieved kid. LOL!
dinner was a lengthy affair.. we spent over 4hrs in total despite the restaurant having super long waiting queues. lol. aft dinner, the rest of them headed to haagen daz n esplanade while mz n i left for hm. i dunno if it was the beautiful lady - 60% alcohol content - i downed tt made the boyfriend all worried or simply bcoz he missed me tt resulted in him cutting short his own gathering to come meet me at cityhall just to send me hm. was kinda touched as i expected him to spend waaay more time with richard n santoso. *kisses*

met him a little later than expected coz tt blur sotong got locked out of his bedrm w/o suitable clothes. oops, i wasn't supposed to reveal tt rite? =P anyway, we met up n went to tampines giant to grocery shop for picnic stuff.. n seriously, i was sooo lost w/o mommy there to guide me. esp in tomato choosing. i somehow picked cuteness in size over quality of fruit in general. wahahaha.
aft taking great pains in buying the stuff - we even got a whole honey-glazed chicken coz it was tasty - we came hm to do the preparations. hey, sandwich making n sausage boiling is hard wrk yeah?! n my maid was shocked tt i was capable of making something edible. dotz.
sandwich making is messy business!!

the food was nicey nice. SUCCESS!! *smug*
was supposed to leave for changi beach in the mid afternoon but we got sorta distracted n i screwed up our plans by arranging to meet brendan frm NTU at small mac. however, we managed to reach changi beach just as the sun was setting n chose a rather intimidating spot. malays r brilliant campers. they do not set up single tents. instead, they set up mini self-sufficient villages complete with generators to create electricity to power their fans, refrigerators n TELEVISION SETS! pro.. but tt made me feel sorta inferior coz forgetful me forgot to pack our picnic mat. thankfully, we had brendan's SMU seminar posters to cushion our butts on. shhhh... =P
we sat facing the sea for quite awhile talking alot.. n i got kinda emotional for reasons i shall not disclose. but as i lay on his lap with the sea breeze in my hair n his arms wrapped around me, i felt so right, so perfect.
caught him by surprise. wahahahaha..

as the night drew darker, the ants started biting so we had no choice but to go to the famous changi village hawker centre for coconut drinks n teh tarik. i didn't wan the day to end.. i waited a whole wk for tt one day n tt one day passed so quickly. but he used his nightly phonecall to blackmail me into going hm. sobs sobs.. i kinda wish to quickly start sch. get myself all busy n tired tt i wun hv the time n energy to mope around n feel sorry for my lonely self. wahhhhh...
